This has been an intermittent issue that causes the "Check Engine" light to come on, indicating that there could be some critical issue with the engine. The Service Code" indicated that there was a turbo under boost issue. One could quickly surmise that the turbo charger needed replacement, which was a major expense. James, Service Coordinator at Accurate Auto Center, explained to me that the service code could be caused by several issues, and that because it seemed to be an intermittent issue, they would perform a diagnostic to determine what was causing the turbo under boost service code error. They performed the diagnostics and found that there were leaks in the air intercooler to the turbo. This could be fixed at a considerable cost savings to replacing the complete turbo charger. This is why I continue to bring my four (4) automobiles to Accurate Auto Center. I could have been out of pocket for a new turbo charger, however, due to the fact that Accurate wanted to repair the issue that was causing the service error, I got the best of both worlds, a service issue repaired and saving having the expenditure for a complete new turbo. That's why I bring my business to Accurate Auto Center.
